It is not necessary to provide this kind of information. Your candidate’s profile may remain unfilled if you don’t feel comfortable sharing certain details. However, just like with any other job board, filling in your profile will increase your chances of getting employed, as recruiters find complete profiles more attractive. We are a meeting point for candidates and employers - companies are required to provide the essential details about the positions they list on our job board, and in return, they ask applicants to do the same so they can learn more about them and decide whether they would be a good match.
Europe Language Jobs’ website is committed by policy to protect and not misuse the information our users provide by filling in their candidates’ profiles.
Europe Language Jobs fully complies with the legislation in terms of protection of data of personal character.
It is not necessary to allow your account access to your Google Drive. If you don’t plan on using this option, you can upload the file directly from your computer and don’t have to synch your ELJ account with your Google Drive. According to the legislation in terms of protection of personal data, we won’t have access to any of the documents on your Google Drive if you choose to give your account access to it.
To change your account details, you need to log in to your account.

The cover letter is very useful when applying to offers, as it gives the employer an idea of what drives you in life and to choosing particular offers.
The cover letter also helps you have a 5-star profile, which many employers find attractive.
The level of experience or university degree will depend solely upon the requirements of the offer which has been created by the companies.
The offers published currently range from no experience to high experienced positions, and various to no University degrees.
First of all, please make sure that your CV is in the DOC or PDF format. Other formats will not be accepted by our system, as they might not be correctly viewed by the recruiters.
You can either upload your CV from Google Drive, or directly from your computer. If the option with Google Drive doesn’t seem to work, please try to upload the file from your device’s storage.
If you are sure that your CV is in the correct format and neither upload option works, please contact us at: info@europelanguagejobs.com

Yes. You can re-register on Europe Language Jobs, including registering with the email address you had previously used to register.
In order to apply for a job offer, you must first register online. To register, click on the ‘candidate’ area/tab on the top of the page, and register filling all the required fields. Remember: The more details you provide, the more attractive your profile will be to employees.
Once registered, search for jobs under the ‘Jobs’ section that best suit your skills and requirements, and apply to the offers with one simple click.
Our system is designed in a way that only allows applicants who fulfill the basic requirements stated in the description apply for the offer. This is done in order to prevent companies from receiving irrelevant applications that would slow down the recruitment process.
If you can’t apply for a certain position, please double-check if you fulfill all the requirements stated in the job description: you must speak the required languages at exactly the level described in the offer (eg. you can’t apply for a position that requires German as a Mother Tongue if in your profile you have marked your knowledge of German as Basic). If an offer states 2 languages as mandatory, you need to be able to speak both of them at the required level (only one of them is not enough). Make sure that you have listed all the languages you speak (including your native language) in your profile and that you have described your level accurately.
Another reason for being unable to apply is that some companies only accept applications coming from their based countries. If they choose to apply a location filter when publishing the offer, the system will automatically filter out all applications coming from outside the hiring company's region.
If you are sure that neither of the cases mentioned above is the issue, please contact us at info@europelanguagejobs.com describing the problem you are encountering.
No, you can only apply to job offers once you have uploaded a CV in your profile.
No, once you have applied to a job, the employer will be notified. You may contact them directly to let them know you are no longer interested in the offer.
As a job board, we need to remain impartial. We cannot contact the companies in favour of the candidates in any case.
This means that the company would like a certain level of language skills. Note that you can modify or add your language skills in the profile section of the website: https://www.europelanguagejobs.com/app/profile. Also, you will need to prove your language level when applying for jobs.
Please bear in mind that the majority of companies that publish their job offers on Europe Language Jobs prefer to recruit candidates from the European Union. However, some companies are willing to provide a work permit/visa and will specify this in the job offer.
If you are not an EU citizen, you will need a work permit to work in Europe. Please note that every European country requires a separate work permit (eg. it isn’t possible to legally work in Germany with a Spanish work permit). Aside from a work permit, you will also need a visa to enter the country in the first place. Please consult the embassy in your home country for details regarding European visas.
Europe Language Jobs is not responsible for providing Visas or work permits for candidates who are not EU citizens.
Candidates need to arrange this prior to applying on the website.
As a job board, we are not qualified or legally authorised to provide any aid or advice concerning visas and work permits (or any other legal issues connected to relocation). In case of doubts, please contact special agencies that offer this kind of service or consult the embassy in your home country in order to obtain fully authorised information.
You will know your application has been successful when you receive an email from Europe Language Jobs confirming the application. (If this fails to happen after 24 hours please email us at info@europelanguagejobs.com and explain what happened]
If the application process proceeds, the hiring company for the position you have applied for will change the status of your application. (Europe Language Jobs does not get involved in this process).
However, if the status of your application on the Europe Language Jobs website has been changed by the company , you will receive an email informing you about the change.
Please note that especially big companies can receive too many applications for one position to be able to manually change the status of every application and send an email to each candidate. If you don’t receive a response for more than a month, it usually means that your application was discarded by the recruiters and the company wasn’t able to inform you about it directly.
‘In process’ - Your application has been taken into account and is currently being reviewed.
‘Finalist’ - The application has been chosen amongst other(s] candidates to pass to the next step of the application process. At this point the company may contact you for the next step of the process.
‘Discarded’ - The application has been reviewed and considered. However, the company has chosen not to process your application any further. This can be due to a lack of suitability with the requirements for the position.
Note that the time for each step can vary and might take from a few days to months, depending on the recruitment needs and process of the company. Europe Language Jobs does not intervene in any of these steps, other than notifying you of when your application has been updated by the hiring company to any of the above.
Depending on the size of the company, the waiting process can take from a few days to a few weeks. Smaller companies can get back to you after just a week, while bigger ones may take up to 2-3 weeks. In the case of very large enterprises which can sometimes receive more than 100 applications for one position, the recruiters may often not be able to respond to each candidate directly. Therefore, if you do not receive an email or an update in the status of your application for over a month, it usually means somebody else was selected for the spot.
Yes you will receive an email from the Europe Language Jobs when you apply.
If the employer wishes to use the option given by ELJ to advance application processes, then the applicant will receive an email informing them of the advancement or declination of an application
We mostly focus on the business sector, so the most popular positions listed on our job board are in Marketing, Sales, HR, Business Development, Management, Finance, Customer Service, and similar. We sometimes receive offers in other areas such as Design, Translation, Copywriting, IT, Tutoring, or in the Hospitality sector, but they are a bit harder to come by at Europe Language Jobs. If you are looking for positions in an area that we don’t normally list, please make sure to check our job board regularly, since we update it with new offers literally every day.
Please note: we never list jobs such as Driver, Physical Worker, Engineer, Cleaner, Carer, Electrician, Kitchen Staff/Assistant.
We improve our website every day. If you encounter any problem or missing options, please let us know by emailing us at: info@europelanguagejobs.com and we will fix any problems the page may have in order to give you the best possible service
Europe Language Jobs acts as a meeting point between candidates and companies and does not intervene in the selection process. For that reason, we do not always know the reasons for the hiring or not of candidates. The companies are at all moments the ones who decide who enters in the selection process.
If the company is interested in your application, they may choose to get in contact with you for an interview or to provide more information.
We don’t provide emails or contact numbers from any HR department from the companies registered at Europe Language Jobs.
Our users’ safety is very important to us. We have a very strict screening process that we apply to every company cooperating with us. Before getting published, each offer is analysed and verified by the ELJ Team, so it is impossible for an unauthorised offer to appear on our job board. In case of doubts, you are always welcome to share your concerns with us at candidates@europelanguagejobs.com and we will double-check the offer and ease your concerns.
RSS allows you to receive notifications about new offers that are published in Europe Language Jobs that coincide with your usual searches. In order to use it, you need to have configured your feeds reader.

Every offer’s main description page has the option on the top right hand corner to be shared on social media or via email.
At Europe Language Jobs, we constantly work to improve the services we provide. For now, the main directory while sending out personalised job offers are the languages the candidates have listed in our profile. We are working on making our algorithm more effective in terms of matching the desired location or preferred sectors as well, but at the moment, it may be possible that our candidates will receive certain positions that don’t always match their preferences in 100%.
Please make sure to provide as many details as possible in your candidate’s profile: the only way we can learn your preferences and do our best to adjust your personalised job offers to them is if you let us know about them in the first place :)
By registering on our website, you agree to our terms and conditions, which state that companies cooperating with us reserve the right to save your CV to their database. It can only be done by recruiters from companies for whose jobs you had previously applied and gave them access to your CV at the same time. Companies you have never interacted with have no right to save your CV on their own.
Even if you don’t initially get the position you have originally applied for, the company may save your CV and contact you in the future, when a similar opportunity opens up. If you are no longer interested, please tell them so and request to delete your data from their database and to stop contacting you. They will be obliged to do so.
If you receive pop-up notifications on your device, it means that you must have given your search engine the permission to send them. Your search engine will not be informed that your email address has been taken off our email list, so it might keep sending you notifications.
This is the issue of your personal settings on your device, not on our website. As we don’t have the possibility to access your settings and disable notifications, you will need to do it on your own. Please visit the following support pages, depending on what kind of search engine you use:
Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3220216?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid
Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/push-notifications-firefox
Safari: https://support.apple.com/pl-pl/guide/safari/sfri40734/mac
Please note: if you keep receiving notifications or emails after unsubscribing, it might be that you have created more than one account with Europe Language Jobs, and we are contacting you with your other email address that you need to deactivate as well.
The Europe Language Jobs website is compatible with most internet browsers. For optimal navigation of our website, we recommend you to use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
